The Medical Academy prepares students for careers with a focus in healthcare and nursing. The PBIZ Health Science Career Cluster is a four-year pathway focused on planning, managing, and providing therapeutic services, diagnostics services, health informatics, support services, and biotechnology research and development. To pursue a career in the health science industry, students should learn to reason, think critically, make decisions, solve problems, communicate effectively, and work well with others.
Components include CNA Certification, dual credit courses, work-based learning and a bridge to workforce and higher education opportunities.
