The Permian Basin Innovation Zone enhances opportunities for students in rural school districts by building connections across rural communities.

Structured as a non-profit organization, the PBIZ is designed as a sustainable collaborative with the possibility to expand over time. The PBIZ allows participating campuses to collaborate on rural challenges, develop regionally-specific solutions, provide students with access and transportation to coursework and teachers they otherwise would not have had access to, and promote collaboration and innovation among schools and teachers leading to stronger results.
